The Story Behind The Brand?

Imagine having low self-confidence because your ponytail was less than 3 inches long and the other kids made fun of you by calling you “bald-head” 🥺.

Fast-forward to years later and that trauma caused you to start taking your hair care (and business 😉) seriously, allowing you to grow hair down your back and launch a brand that helps other women do the same!

In 2011, I (Whitney Jones, owner) chopped all of my then relaxed hair off and went on a journey of discovering and caring for my natural hair — by seeking knowledge, using hair products that were made for my hair type and practicing lots of patience.

In 2018, I launched Hair Works and its debut product, the Health Boosting oil ✨.

Since, we’ve grown to a comprehensive range of products designed to nourish, protect, and style. Our products are carefully crafted for the unique needs of black hair, promoting healthy growth and stunning results.
